Role

The role of HRCC is to:

  • Promote, support, and strengthen the economic activities of its members, and to foster bilateral industrial, commercial, and investment relations between Greece and Romania
  • Establish and enhance connections between public officials, institutions, and businesses in both countries to create favorable conditions for economic collaboration and mutual development
  • Encourage solidarity and contribute to the cultural and socio-economic life of both nations through development programs, including educational and cultural initiatives
  • Represent and defend the interests of the business community before Romanian, Greek, and EU institutions, including to propose relevant legal or regulatory initiatives
  • Conduct studies, monitor dynamic economic sectors, maintain commercial databases, and provide access to relevant statistical and analytical insights
  • Offer consulting, mediation, and arbitration services, as well as to facilitate relationships with authorities, embassies, and chambers of commerce in both countries
  • Organize trade fairs, business forums, economic partnerships, and publishing catalogs, reports, and promotional materials to boost business visibility and cooperation
