Throughout his 30-year professional career, Vasileios Stavrou has served—and continues to serve—the business sector in senior leadership positions in both Romania and Greece.
In this capacity, he is well aware of the challenges and opportunities faced by the business world, as well as the type of support needed through various institutional and non-institutional bodies.
Vasileios has been a member of the Board of Directors of F.I.C. Romania, a member of the Board of Directors of the Belgium-Romania Chamber of Commerce, and a member of the Board of Directors of the Hellenic-Dutch Chamber of Commerce.
Vasileios firmly believes that his experience, knowledge, and desire to contribute substantially to achieving the vision of the Chamber make him a suitable candidate for a position on the Board of Directors of HRCC.
Integrity, teamwork, cooperation, and dedication to achieving objectives are among his personal values, which align with the Chamber’s values and are essential for its emergence as a reference point for Greek businesses in Romania.
Vice President
Dimitris Tranakas has over 25 years of experience in the advertising and communications industry across the Balkans (Greece, Romania, Albania, Bulgaria, North Macedonia) and Africa, working with and advising top clients in various industries such as energy, telecommunications, FMCG, construction and real estate, banking and finance, heavy industry, tourism, media and entertainment, and more.
Currently, Dimitris is a partner at Oxygen, one of the top three advertising groups in Romania. In his role, he oversees areas such as business development, change management, transformation, strategic leadership, and business growth. Over the past five years, he has also been a partner in the Aegean Group, operating in the HORECA and hospitality sectors.
Dimitris Tranakas holds an MBA from the Berlin School of Creative Leadership and a bachelor’s degree in marketing from BCA Athens.
His desire to participate in the upcoming HRCC elections stems from his ongoing pursuit of building bridges between Romania and Greece. He firmly believes there is significant untapped potential in promoting the economic, social, and cultural heritage of Greece in Romania and vice versa. His goal is to leverage his strong skills in strategy, communication, and networking to enhance HRCC’s visibility, attract new members, and promote its initiatives within the Greek and Romanian business communities.
General Secretary
With a university degree in seismology, Ioannis Alfieris has been a founding member and board member of Accord Electronics since 1992.
Deeply involved in the Chamber’s activities, having served as Secretary General for over 10 years, Ioannis’s candidacy is rooted in his belief in the strong and dynamic potential of bilateral economic and cultural activities.
Financial Advisor
With a certification in Business Administration from the University of Economics and Business in Athens and an MBA from the University of East London, Sotiris is an accomplished professional with over 20 years of successful experience in financial and administrative management across various fields, including banking, construction, and law.
Solution-oriented and highly proactive, Sotiris Intzes has served as the COO of DRAKOPOULOS since October 2015 and has been a member of the HRCC board for the past four years.
Having held diverse roles and undertaken missions in culturally and geographically varied and volatile environments, Sotiris consistently maintains a broad perspective while focusing on market trends with the goal of business expansion, all while creating innovative opportunities.

Christos Seferis has over 35 years of experience in professional services with the Big 4 and five years with TGS. He has extensive expertise in external and statutory audits (including integrated audits and IPOs for SEC in the U.S. and EU-listed companies), taxation, corporate finance (primarily financial and operational due diligence and M&A), and risk consulting (including internal and regulatory compliance audits).
Christos holds a bachelor’s degree in commerce, specializing in business and accounting, from the University of Edinburgh, UK, and a master’s degree in computer science from University College London, UK. He is a member of various professional associations in Romania, Greece, the UK, and beyond.
With more than 10 years of active involvement in the Chamber, including serving as President of the Board for two terms, Christos Seferis has been deeply engaged in and has overseen all its activities. His candidacy is driven by a broad vision focused on:
Supporting the economic, cultural, and educational activities of the Hellenic community in Romania
Promoting HRCC members through awareness initiatives such as the monthly HRCC magazine, interviews, and periodic networking meetings
Sharing knowledge by organizing conferences and webinars tailored to the real needs and interests of members
Building relationships with Romanian and Greek authorities, with a focus on Invest Romania, Enterprise Greece, and the Ministries of Economy, Energy, and European Funds
Organizing and participating in prestigious events to raise awareness about the Chamber and Greek companies
Strengthening ties with key bilateral Chambers of Commerce to promote members’ interests
Emphasizing the importance of education and the relocation of the Greek School “Athina” to a larger facility.

With a bachelor’s degree from the Bucharest Academy of Economic Studies, Ioannis Felemegkas is the General Manager of Testing Inspection Certification (TIC), representation office of TUV HELLAS (TUV NORD) Certification Body.
His extensive professional experience, advanced expertise, diverse skills, integrity, honesty, and vision for fostering growth and improving the business climate through innovation, communication, partnerships, and networking form the foundation of his candidacy for the HRCC elections.
Member of BoD
Georgios is an architect working with the Bucharest-based architecture and project management office K-BOX, as well as in his family’s businesses in Romania. He has experience with large-scale projects and regulatory plans for high- and medium-quality residential developments. Additionally, Georgios has expertise in healthcare and education projects.
He has already served a term as a member of the Board of Directors of the Hellenic-Romanian Chamber of Commerce. His candidacy for a second term is driven by his desire to assist the Chamber in strengthening business ties between Greece and Romania, while also fostering connections between young professionals and businesspeople.
During his first term, Georgios familiarized himself with the Chamber’s daily operations, procedures, and challenges. Now, in his second term, he aims to support the Chamber by representing the new generation of individuals looking to start businesses in Romania. Georgios’s intention is to extend HRCC’s activities to its members and to engage the new generation of entrepreneurs working in or aspiring to invest in Romania.
Through these efforts, he believes the Chamber’s role will be strengthened, addressing the needs of emerging and young entrepreneurs.
